Just a quick idea for a FUSE feature: Printing of the presets names, so one make a small sticker to remember where they are when the computer is off :)
(I guess this is only relevant for Mustangs I and II...)

Hey Madsen,

That has been suggested before. Hopefully we'll be able to implement something like that into a future version of Fender FUSE.

It would be helpful If the list of current presets could be extracted to Word or Excel. This would give the user pinting options that Fuse probably couldn't include.

It has been noted here MANY times before that it would be VERY helpful if the library/presets browser in Fuse had normal Windows explorer file functions, so for example you could copy, cut and paste, drag and drop, print etc.

Hasn't happened yet - maybe the Silverlight program base makes it impossible ? - but I keep hoping.

heres how:-

from viewtopic.php?f=27&t=71185

Quote:
There are two ways you can download content from the Fender FUSE Community site. The first is directly from the full website either through Fender FUSE (Community button in bottom center of user interface) or through an actual web browser of choice. Downloading this way requires you to point the files to the correct folders (Presets = Documents\Fender\FUSE\Presets

Band Tracks = Documents\Fender\FUSE\Audio\Wav-mp3).

And the second method is to use the Media Library inside Fender FUSE (upper right corner of user interface). Be sure you are logged in (lower right corner). Once in the Media Library, click on the Web tab in the center row of buttons near the top of he window. You will see a 'text' view of the Fender FUSE Community site. Select any Preset or Band Track that you would like to download and right click (control click) and the file(s) will automatically be placed in the correct folder

Now just get and install Windows prg Directory Printer v5.3.2

http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptdirprn.asp

open prg and go to Documents\Fender\FUSE\Presets on your Windows pc

and printout everything.

A far as the presets on your Mustang, use Horsetamer to back them up to a different directory from the above, and print them out the same way.

Once again I'll state that what we really need is the ability to store presets in Subdirectories!

hop this helps

That's a good workaround, but still nowhere near as useful as having normal 'explorer' functionality for the library screens in Fuse, and especially Drag and Drop, which would make using the preset management screens SO much easier and more pleasant.
