Hi, everbody! Just recently got a G-DEC 3 and was wondering about installing the Fuse software. Should I go ahead and install the version on the disc that came with the amp (v2) and then install 2.6.0 over it or skip the earlier one and just install 2.6.0? Thanks.

Its my understanding that each version of Fuse released is a 'full' stand-alone version, not just an update, so I would suggest going straight to a downloaded 2.6.0. (There have been some occasional problems noted here with installing 2.6.0 over earlier versions).

Hopefully Loren will correct me if I'm leading you astray !

It's always best to download the latest version available. The version on the G-DEC 3 disc is most definitely outdated.

Thanks guys.
Loren, what version of Silverlight does 2.6.0 install? Form reading the posts I am getting that that is where problems are coming from. The version I am running is 4.0.60831.0, so if Fuse wants to install an earlier version then I can choose no to the install? Or should I just uninstall my verson of Silverlight before installing Fuse and then ok the Silverlight install? Sorry if I'm being too picky. I recently had major problems after upgrading some hardware and installing Windows 7. Don't want anymore if it can be avoided. Thanks very much.

Hey RedRaider,

I recommend uninstalling Silverlight 4 before running the Fender FUSE installer. I'm always a proponent of clean installs.
