Newbie to the Fender Lounge here...I'm also a new owner of a Fender SC X2 HD.

Now I maybe off here, but is it possible to select - and save - specific EFXs to the 16 voicings?

For example, I'd like a Tweed with compressor in front, and hall reverb in loop (after preamp), and like a Supersonic with phaser in front and delay in the loop.

I cannot get the FUSE software to "keep" these effects within the Presets.
It changes the effects each time I "save" the voice and/or the effects.

Help appreciated! 8) :D
thanks.mike.

Hi eddyrox,

Thanks for your inquiry. And welcome to the Fender Lounge Forums. With the Fender SuperChamp X2 amp, saving your Voices and FX is a bit different than the other Fender FUSE-connected amps. You have 16 Voice locations on the amp. Fender FUSE displays those from clicking the Voice knob in the center (top) of the user interface. FX settings can be displayed in the same fashion by clicking on the FX knob there.

Once you click on either of these, you can select the amp and stomp or effects you want in either case, and once you are done editing, you can save the amp and stomp to the Voice setting of your choice. Or you can save the effects chain you have set up in any of the 15 FX locations. To save, click on the Save Ch.2 Voice or Save FX button and select the radio button beside the location you would like to save to and click Save. Once this is done, the amp will have been programmed for the location you saved to for Voice and/or FX settings. You can save these settings as a standard "Preset" in Fender FUSE. But the amp will not remember the Preset itself to a location. Rather the amp remembers Voice and FX settings, which are the primary components of the typical Preset on the other amps. And with the SuperChamp X2, the channel settings (Gain, Volume and tone) need to be set manually at all times.

I hope this information helps. Please let us know if we can assist further. And if you have not yet, please check out the user manual for your amp as well. Thanks.

TSL, I think I understand.

To clarify, I can save any amp voicing or any EFX voicing to the given "dial" preset (e.g. Metal 2000 in 16 variations on the amp voicing).

However, in addition to saving a specific amp voicing, I want to have a Phaser on preset voicing #3, and a Compressor on voicing #6, and a Compressor, Chorus and Delay on preset #7, etc. - and NOT have to manually dial up each effect when I change the amp voicing. (e.g. each voicing and effects as a "patch" 1, 2, 3, etc.)

So this is outside of the FUSE X2 functionality - you can save the EFXs settings to individual EFX presets, but these EFX presets cannot be programmed or be linked specifically to any given voicing preset.

I'm really trying to attain Mustang Floor functionality out of the voice/EFX - which is beyond the scope of the FUSE software.

Hi eddyrox,

I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you. So, you can save the amp & stomp settings together to any of the 16 Voice locations. Also, you can save any other effects in the combination of your choice to any of the 15 FX locations. Then you would dial up the Voice and FX location you like and go. Please let me know if this makes sense and if I can assist further.

Cheers,

Alan
