Post subject: Trouble running FUSE

I just downloaded fuse as well as microsoft silverlight, however when i try to run fuse, a pop up screen shows up from internet explorer asking me whether i wanted to "open,save, or cancel" , when i try any of them, the fuse application just opens up with a white screen and nothing else... would be great if you guys can get to me ASAP, thanks

Hey Coldfury,

Try resetting Internet Explorer to the default settings and download the FUSE installer again. There may be some security or file type issues going on with IE.

I have completely disabled windows explorer, but I still get the white screen when I run fuse, this time without the pop up thing I mentioned earlier

When you say you disabled IE what exactly do you mean? Fender FUSE does require IE 7 or later in order to run.

I disabled internet explorer 8, and installed 9 instead , upgraded silverlight to 5.0 and downloaded and installed a new fuse software, it shows the "loading please wait screen" now, then a black screen just shows afterwards.... and sometimes it just freezes

There is some sort of error i found when i right clicked the fuse program when it freezes during the loading screen, a dialog box titled "Error" from "Microsoft Silverlight Out of Browser Launcher" it says
"Usage : SSlauncher.exe [app_id][debug][\install<file path to XAP>]
[/emulate<file path to XAP>][/overwrite]/origin:<original app uri> [/uninstall]
[/shortcut :<desktop|startmenu|desktop+startmenu|none>][/pid]

i hope that helps you identify the problem, i have also tried all the solutions you suggested and non worked for me...

i've already tried all of the solutions listed but non works for me as i mentioned earlier... its been 2 weeks and i still haven't got any response to my earlier post
