Tx so much, I had the same problem last night and Step 1 did fix my problem.

This problem occurred to me when I bought my amp (last oct) and I couldn't remember what I did at that time. So I took note of it this time.

But I wonder what's going on that it is happening suddenly.
The night before it was OK and last night, couldn't load............

Strange,

LeZaz

Glad it worked for somebody, just caused mine to not even open the window now. I've already done a clean download and install on a full privilege admin account five times, and have seen the same results every time, that grayed out frozen screen and the non-stop blinking red/green lights in the lower left corner and the words starting up.

It really says something about Fender that I had to Google to find this much. Tried what you offered above; SilverLight has been working great since day 1, a long time ago, but just to humor myself I said why not and ran a clean download/install on it as well. No change.

Downloaded and unzipped the troubleshooter file, moved it as directed, ran it, command line window opened and repeated the line "Specified file path not found" several times and then it asked if Fuse had opened. Typed N, pressed enter am am told to send a non-existing directory file, dir.txt, to the techies. So now what?

I'm having trouble too. All of a sudden my Fuse has stopped working, I cannot get it to load. I get the initial screen saying "Loading Please Wait" and then nothing. I tried everything Loren suggested including resetting my IE, reinstalling Silverlight and Fuse, and nothing has helped. Would a system restore help? Any other suggestions?

I have had this issue everytime there is a update to Fuse. it is always to deal with silverlight. Your programmer should make this software without the use of silverlight, it is way to buggy.

The way I solve my issue is to uninstall Silverlight and get a older version from oldapps.com(aka oldversion.com) and download a older version of silverlight. I got Silverlight 4.0.60531.0 and after installing this version. Everything works great.

So by the info above. it has never solved my issue 3 times.

I tried this and it didn't help. I removed FUSE and reinstalled it and it gave me a screen that says it requries Silverlight 5.0 so I had to install that. Still not working, guess I'll call the number Loren gave us.

Same versions of FUSE and Silverlight as you're using, running XP Pro with SP3.

I did everything on here, even running the .bat file. I have one problem still. The dir.txt file was never created when I answered N on the command prompt. I tried looking for it, and nothing. Please help me. :|

Hi Alan,

I recently went through the "Stuck" loading screen. The solution in step 1 resolved it. I'm running 2.06.25 now. However, now my "Preset Info" button is permanantly grayed out and I'm not able to add content. Any ideas?

Thanks!
Doug

Sorry Alan, nevermind. I didn't realize I needed to have my amp connected in order for the preset info button to be enabled. Thanks!
