This is what this damn FUSE keeps telling me. It says there's one connected during the Firmware update, but when I go to use the program AFTER I install the update and follow the instructions, it still comes up as No Amplifier Connected.

wat do?

Have you tried this?

First, start Fuse without the amp connected. Under Main Menu, Help, About..., make sure you have version 2.4.1. If not you should probably upgrade.

Then, with the amp powered off, connect the USB cable between your amp and PC. Power on the amp and give Fuse about a minute to find your amp. (My PC is really slow, most will be much faster to react.)

Hope this works for you. If not, you may need to restore factory defaults on your amp (but you'll lose any customized presets) and try again. If you're able to connect, see if you have the latest firmware release (maybe your update was unsuccessful). Good luck.

I shall give it a try.

How do I restore the factory settings if necessary? I don't have an instruction manual or anything since they just gave me the amp that was on the floor at the shop.

Thanks for that.

Am I gonna have to factory restore each time I change the presets to use it with the Fuse software?

You shouldn't have to.

Well I tried both those methods and it still doesn't show up.

Does it only work with the USB cable that comes with the amp? Because my amp did not come with anything. So I've been using the USB cable from my PS3.

I use the same USB cable. They all work for me.

Open your Control Panel>Hardware and Sound> Device Manager: with the USB unplugged, then plug the USB it in with the Mustang Powered on and see if it is recognized as the Mustang, that would be your first order of business.
-- if not then:
1. Delete whatever it is recognized as, then unplug the USB straight after you hit delete
2. RESTART PC/Laptop
3. Sign into Fuse
4. Go back into Device Manager
5. Power on the Mustang
6. Plug the USB back into the PC/Laptop
- it should then assign it as the Mustang amp

Did anyone of you have managed out, how to install the FUSE Device Drivers? If so, I would be glad to know from you how, under this topic viewtopic.php?f=27&t=68317
