Hello
I've just bought a Mustang ii (blown away by the tones, very happy :) but have a couple of questions that do not seem to be answered by the PDF manual or the online FAQ. I am using FUSE 2.41.

1) On the site and in the manual it talks about being able to save and load backups of 24 presets to and from the Mustang; "My Blues Presets", etc. This seems like a great feature but nowhere is it explained how to do this, i.e. how to make a "block" of 24 presets and swap them in and out.

2) Is there anywhere where I can find details on the specific controls on the stomp box and rack effects and what they do? i.e. what the Thresh and Ratio controls do on the compressor stomp, etc? Thanks very much for any help and advice.

Good question for the gdec and the bronco .... Same mystery if you don't have the manuals for all these effects and amps.

Hey Guys,

Harmonious -
1). The Backup and Restore functions are what you're referring to. You can find them in the Main Menu in FUSE under Utilities.

2). The controls on the stomp pedals and rack effects are standard audio tools that can be found on almost any effects processor. A good explanation of some of these parameters can be found here:

Ok, but that doesn't explain how to use the backup and restore functions in the way I asked. How do I create a block of 24 presets and then load them in and out of the Mustang?

That's exactly what the Backup function DOES. :| You select backup and the thing saver all 24 presets to a folder separate from where it saves your individual ones. Restore also loads them all back to the amp, all at once.

So all you'd have to do is find where it saved and switch them in and out.

Thanks again, but can you create a folder and add presets WITHOUT first having them on the amp? And then load that folder?

Regarding the various effects...

While not an exact match, many have gotten a lot of use from this doc:

http://support.fender.com/manuals/guita ... nglish.pdf

Just ignore all of the amp-specific stuff and skip down to the effects section.
