After installation of the Fender Fuse software, the bottom left corner reads "No Amplifier Connected" even when my Mustang III is plugged in via USB. I'm running Vista, and when i connect into the usb port, I get an error message telling me that Windows doesn't recognize my usb device.

I've tried rebooting, re installing Fuse and Silverlight numerous times, as well as downloading an older version of Fuse, all to no avail.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated !

Well, Windows will have to have the drivers for the Mustang installed before ANY program can use it. So you're going to need to fix that first.

What I would do is plug the Mustang in, go into Device Manager, and force an uninstall of the "unknown device." Then unplug the Mustang, reboot your computer. Try to plug it in again and see if the correct drivers won't install. If not, I bet Fender can supply you with those drivers.

Once THAT'S done, FUSE should recognize the amp and behave itself.

So which device would i want to uninstall? I'm assuming it would be under the USB section. My screen looks something like this:

This is a common comment ... what you want to do is this order:
1. Start Fuse
2. Log into Fuse
3. Turn on the Mustang while the USB is connected between the amp and your USB port
... then it will say CONNECTED!

Did anyone of you have managed out, how to install the FUSE Device Drivers? If so, I would be glad to know from you how, under this topic viewtopic.php?f=27&t=68317
