I have a notepad file in my Drive files on the PC...it reads "2011-12-04 18:39:47.2031 FUSELauncher.FUSELauncher Local user silverlight folder doesn't exist at: \Microsoft\Silverlight\OutOfBrowser "

Could this be the answer as to why my fuse doesn't work? If so, what do I need to do to correct it?

Did you install with a different account than you are trying to run it from on your pc?

For example, did you install from an account with admin privileges and are trying to run it from a regular user account on your pc?

The problem with the Fuse installer is that it only installs the Silverlight part of Fuse for the account you install from so if you use a different account to run Fuse than the one you installed from it will not work.

The solution is to copy the fender.fuse folder that is in that OutOfBrowser folder from the account you installed from to the same location in the other account.

Hi Bob,
The FUSE and the (included in the FUSE) Silverlight werte both installed on my account on the PC (I have an adminstrator's account, as does the wife...the kiddies have restricted accounts as they're only young).
I'm not sure what to do now...as it just doesn't work on here (I have XP Home SP3)

Do you know if you had Silverlight installed on your machine prior to installing Fuse?

If not or you are not sure what version, I would go to Microsoft and download the latest Silverlight and install that and then try and reinstall Fuse...

Silverlight was on here before hand, though with advice from people on the forums, I have uninstalled/reinstalled both SL and FUSE in so many different combinations! At the moment, Silverlight is 5.0.60818.0\ ...

I would go ahead and call Fender to get this straightened out.

Here is the UK contact info.

Mark, Are you running a newer version of Internet Explorer ? The older versions have issues with Fuse. I know this does not answer the "silverlight" question, but I remember reading someone was having issues and it turned out to be an older version of internet explorer.

Hey there Mark,

I'll give you a ring tomorrow (12/13). Our software guys will most likely need to see a few system logs. I"ll walk you through gathering them.

Hi Loren
I didn't get the phone call.
Could you have the instruction emailed to me? I could print it all off, and work from that?
