Hi everyone. In spite of numerous suggestions from Loren and other users here, my FUSE software still doesn't work. I have also noticed my XP Home PC is slower and hard to operate after the installation of the NET Framework and Silverlight...
I get the Loading Please Wait screen and then everything crashes!
Any one else having this problem or noticing performance effects?

Home edition of XP is difficult with a lot of things. Same problems with me too, but I found a Fix. I`m on XP Professional with /SP3. Btw, did you up-grade to "Win service pack 3" also as you did Net Framework? And try "Silverlight 5", instead of 4. Mine would never open with silverlight v4.

The only way I got FUSE to work for me is, I installed "Silverlight 5" and all problems solved. It loads and works just fine. One of the Fender guys kept telling me it SHOULD work with silverlight v4, but, No-No-No. Never. Try Silverlight v5 if you haven`t already. Most all problems concerning FUSE I`ve read about are those of us running Windows XP.... Hope this helps.

Sorry to hear Mark. Wish it was working for you.. Because, I JUST COULD NOT ever get a decent tone or the crunch (for MySelf) with-out being able to use FUSE to tweak my "Mustang 2".. I tried myself to get my Fuse to work for 4 days on Win XP Professional, and silverlight 5 worked in the end. They could have definitely built FUSE to not demand such extra components and complications. I believe XP Professional / SP3 would do the trick over "Home", if you can install. I`d have to guess your problem is in using "XP Home Edition", it`s not very Multi-Media friendly. I used XP Home for a couple years and had a lot of problems just trying to record music as well as difficulty with other programs.

On your crashing problem, have you checked to see if one of your "Ram/Memory sticks" has went bad? Do you defragment your drive often? I don`t know how much you know about computers, but I had a crashing problem with my PC, so the first thing I done was removed one of my Rams (memory slot 2 first) and booted back up and my computer never crashed again. Only had half the memory then, but never crashed. So I bought another Memory/Ram stick to replace it.

If your Ram is fine, and your computer meets all system requirements. Try "Silverlight 5_Developer". After up-grading everything, Net-Framework 3.5, win sp3, etc. SL-5 was all it took for me. I`ve learned a lot about computers while I was using XP Home. And I know it`s nothing compared to XP Pro... I will write you a private message with my email, I can come up with other solutions and would be glad to help you more directly, if you`d like... I`d hate it if you couldn`t get the decent tone your looking for out of these Bland Amps just because you can`t use Fuse.
