Hi,
I've installed Fender Fuse on my Macbook pro with 10.6.8 OSX, and I have a Mustang 2. The program shows that my Mustang is connected, but when I play my guitar it doesn't sound. I updated the firmware of my amp but I still having the same problem. I've read some posts about problems with the drivers and when I was looking for it in /Library/Extensions I saw that the folder is empty, I don't know if it's the reason of the problem. I also have uninstalled - installed Fuse but the folder stills empty.
Thanks in advance, I hope you can help me :)

There is something else going on there. The guitar does NOT go through Fuse.

You do not even need to have the amp connected to the laptop to use the amp.

I have a Mustang I and a Mustang III and in the past year I think I have only used Fuse to upgrade the firmware and to occasionally tweak the presets. You don't need Fuse for day to day use of the amp especially once you have the presets set the way you want.

I would start troubleshooting by disconnecting the amp from the laptop and see if you can get sound from the amp. Check both volume knobs and make sure they aren't turned all the way down. Try changing to other presets.

Which cable did you use to connect the laptop to the amp? Fuse will only work through the USB cable, since you say it shows the amp connected in Fuse I am assuming you did use that. Did you use an audio cable from the AUX or Headphone port on the amp as well?

Hi sergio105,

The Fender drivers will be in the System/Library. But it sounds like you may be experiencing other issues. Can you please email us off the Forum, and send a more detailed description of what the amp is doing. By the way, is the Save light lit when you power on the amp? We look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,
