Dear All
After spending sometime browsing the monster thread below regarding
"Loading Please Wait...." -
I managed to work out that you HAVE TO have Microsoft Explorer 7 or 8 (6 won't work).

I hadn't updated Explorer for a few years because I did't want to be a slave to MS or any one company, however thanks to Fender I've had to go back to the evil empire (although isn't that Google, Apple or Facebook these days?)

Now I've updated Explorer Fuse 2.4.0 is up and running.

I shan't be using Explorer as my browser though, I'm going to stay with Firefox!

It would be nice if
a) Fender support could make this an anouncement on the updates announcement thread (ie no Explorer 6).
b) Fender didn't lock us into using thirdparty software (Silverlight and Explorer)

Hope this helps some people out there.

Regards

Dan

Hey Dan,

Actually, the system requirements for Fender FUSE state that you must have IE7 or later. I can understand your frustration about the need to use Silverlight. Please keep in mind that Silverlight is necessary in order for the Mac and PC version of Fender FUSE to remain identical and be updated at the same time.

Regarding the use of IE, that's necessary as well. Fender FUSE needs a connection to the internet as well as a browser interface and IE is included on every Windows PC in the world. The same goes for Safari on the Mac side, which is what Fender FUSE for OS X uses.
