Prior to installing new FUSE I made a backup. After installation I loaded an older backup just to see if it works smoothly and it went nuts. Now every one loads with errors and FUSE regarded them as corrupt files. HorseTamer is not able to load FUSE database. I'd appreciate some help.

Ouch! But do keep in mind that Horse Tamer is NOT a Fender product, and may not play well with updates, etc.... Use it at your own risk...

It doesn't matter cuz presets were screwed up by FUSE... I used HorseTamer afterwards just to check. I'd appreciate some help!

Hey Kuba,

We haven't experienced that particular issue at all here. I wonder if reverting to a previous version of Fender FUSE will allow you to successfully restore your presets.

How did you do the backup, was it through Fuse???

If the backup was through HorseTamer than that is likely the problem. HorseTamer is not a Fender product and it will take time for the person who developed it to catch up to any changes Fender has made to Fuse that "may" affect HorseTamer.

As Loren suggested, try installing the older version of Fuse and check your presets again to see if they really are corrupt.

If they work fine in the older version of Fuse then back them up through Fuse this time rather than HorseTamer and then upgrade to the newer version of Fuse.

I backed it up using FUSE 2.3 before installing 2.4 (and updating firmware). Then I loaded some old $@! preset, than I loaded newest and it went nuts. I reistalled 2.3 - it wouldn't laod any backups, than I installed 2.4 again and it' pretty much all right. These extra chimey deluxe pops up, but all preset are working, default effects aren't swapped. But it's still weird and those backups which I made during first 2.4 install may be corrupted...

It does sound like they are corrupted. So you're able to backup and restore presets now with 2.4?
