Hello, I have a Mustang III since Maj 2011 and when I installed the fender fuse software,it started, but now itis death.
I have ridden all the topics about " f fuse"'s issues,on the forum, but I'm not sure because my PC don't accepts the software no more.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall fuse but nothin.
I have PC with windows 7 so,internet explorer 8 and microsoft silverlight installed always before than the first installation of fuse . I'll think that the problem should be about silverlight but what can I do? Uninstall MS and reinstall it? update it ? or others actions ?
What's the right sequence to do ?
Please tell me something about ! :?: :(

Hi Guys,

I apologize for any delays in following up. We were short handed last week. Have you both sent emails to us? If so, did you include your Fender FUSE Forum user names so we can connect them with you? If they are there now, we will be going through them today.

Best Regards,

I think I'm having the same problem- See below.
Update - I tried uninstalling version 2.4 and then downloaded 2.3
but still have the same problem.

Hi All
I got my G-Dec yesterday, and spent the whole day playing it.
I installed the version of Fuse (1.0 something) which came with the amp,
that was fine, until last night when I noticed 2.4.0 was available.

After having installed 2.4.0 for PC from the Fender Fuse site I tried to use the software but nothing more than a blank window pops up.
For a brief second I get please wait, loading but then this disappears and I am left with a black Window.
If I right click on the Window I get to the info about Microsoft Silverlight, which informs me I have version 4.0.60531.0 and various tabs with technical details about MS Silverlight but no sign of Fuse.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

Best Regards,

I emailed per your request in the community, you said you would get back to us, and so far have not, I'm very disappointed and am now going to write the BBB so I get a response. I just bought my Gdec 3 30 watt.

I am running on a AMD Phenom Processor with windows 7 64 bit but it runs 32 bit mode every program i have runs fine it seems others are having this same problem with the fuse launcher stops working is the notice we see and windows seems to look for a solution.

Apparently. Here's a few things to check, though. You might try updating Microsoft Silverlight. I just checked my Google Chrome browser and have 4.0.60831.0 installed. You said yours was around 604xx. I doubt this will solve your problem, though.

Next, check for background programs running. I'm a computer technician, so I rarely have more than a few background programs running, but I have seen other peoples' computers and they're usually choked with stuff. This could seriously hamper FUSE from running properly.

Try starting FUSE WITHOUT the USB cable plugged in. Don't plug in your Mustang yet. See if FUSE starts properly. If that's how you've been doing it, then plug in your USB cable and then start FUSE. Just things to check.

I use my Samsung Netbook to run FUSE. True, it's a pain since FUSE doesn't let me see the whole window on this smaller screen and I can't resize the damned thing like a number of other people have been complaining about to Fender (and they haven't fixed, by the way), but it's so portable and I can also use my big desktop PC to make the changes. I personally find all the heavy reverb to be quite annoying and it seems like EVERY preset has some. AND they keep putting it as a post-amp rack effect and keep putting it at the bottom slot (which means I can't get to it on my netbook AT ALL).

....OK, I'm seriously getting off-topic. Really, though, try some of these steps and see if anything doesn't get cleared up. Try to make sure that FUSE will be the only program you're running.

Has anyone found out the answer to Fuse not launching? I downloaded the latest version also, 2.4.1 and installed it on my Windows 7 64 bit laptop. It worked the first time I opened the program, but second time around nothing but the Fuse loading - please wait... I'm still waiting. If anyone has any info, I'd sure appreciate it.

Mustang Mini
Mustang 2
Mustang 3...

Update.. I installed the newest version of Microsoft Silverlight and the application worked. Good luck all!
