For cryin out loud! Will you come up with a fix to this obvious Fender Fuse Software nightmare ?!!!
This thing is goin back if this isn't dealt with in the next 48 hrs. Have already spent 3 days trying everything that has been previously discussed on these boards- at least twice.

Get it together !

Another disappointed consumer,

Not sure why you think that Fuse hasn't been updated since 2010.

Fuse was last updated in July this year, i.e. only a couple of months ago - have you tried downloading and installing that latest version ?

Would also help others here to help you if you actually spelled out what your problem is.

Uh... I don't think anyone has the foggiest clue to what you're talking about...
And as previously posted, there have been updates... the latest is from June/July 2011...

Not sure where you got "not updated since 2010". Point is not a solid fix for the software so that it can be used as intended and advertised.
It could have 100 updates, but that means nothing if the software is problematic. If you need help understanding what I mean by that- take a look at the hundred posts on here and take your pick.
As for downloading and installing the program, yes, of course I have download the latest version and made several attempts to run it.

Like many others I get the screen "waiting"...but that's it.

Hello? What I am talking about is NOT updates. I never even used the word. Nor does it matter what month or year or how many there have been.
What does matter is being able to run the software and use the amp.
The "foggiest clue what I am talking about" would be the countless postings on the issue of trouble running the software.
Might wanna re-read my orig post.

Wolfy,
Read your thread title..... Fuse *HAS* been fixed since 2010.
Everyone else seems to be able to use the software, even though some needed hand holding from Fender tech support.
Sorry you can't figure it out. Maybe it's too complicated for you.
My Dad used to have a hard time with computers also.
It's been 48 hours now, so you already returned it, making this a moot point.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Kid, It's been *updated*. Fixed would mean everyone is currently able to use it.
Everyone else seems to be able??? Really? According to your post on another thread ;
Quote:
"Seems to be lots of QC issues with thes amps... it's too bad, would have been a good amp otherwise."
That's not the case at all. Obviously due to the high number of posts concerning the system.
I have 4 computers, and operating them is not a problem- since you choose to aSSume that It's "too complicated for me" or that hand holding might be needed.
Apparently, you have no valuable insight or assistance to provide on this issue and spend your time running around the forums like a spoiled little boy with nothing better to do.
I'll go ahead and set you on ignore and wish you happy trails, kid.
Don't eat your crayons.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If anyone has anything positive to contribute in concerns with Fuse software operations- Please feel free to let me know. Not here for a debate or to babysit the kids. Just wanted to get to the bottom of the software problem w/ Fuse. ~Wulf

Wolfy,
You're confusing hardware and software...
What difference does it make? You supposedly returned your amp a few days ago, yet you're still looking for help using the software that goes with it.... Strange.

Loren here has been able to resolve most every software issue for users that need it.
Assuming that you actually kept your amp, (depite your "threat" in the first post), you should reach out fr help from him.

I, too, have been waiting since 2010 for Fender to address this mess, including multiple communications with Mr. Howard! They seem to come up with excuse after excuse including blaming Microsoft Silverlight for this problem. According to him, the "fix" was soon to come...that was in September, 2010 (not a typo...yes, 2010!)!

Unlike your suggestion, this application should have been an easy install. Instead, the number of users that face "Loading...Please Wait" continues to grow and grow! And that's only counting the ones who bother to post in this forum...who knows how many others are out there...

Hey HungryWulf,

If you're experiencing issues with Fender FUSE feel free to contact us directly. There aren't many users out there that are still having issues after doing so.

I put in a call. Office hours - closed.. I wouldn't call it "experiencing issues" really, More like the software doesn't work. The same you've heard for months, left with the infamous blue "Wait" screen.
Have tried it on two systems now:

HP, Windows 7, Pentium dual core T4500 @2.30 Ghz /2.30 Ghz, w/ 3.00 Ghz RAM, 64 bit Operating system.

Toshiba, Windows xp, sp3, 2.3, 3 Ghz Ram, etc...

Contrary to the previous rantings of the "leg-riding" lil pinhead (somanyguitars) on the thread here who offers ZERO help and minimal humor in his attempt of kissing whatever arse is his current target- I do have plenty of experience running software and have likely been working with programs longer than he has been out of diapers.

Hey Wulf, what difference does it make? According to your first temper tantrum, you took the amp back weeks ago! Why are you still whining about not getting support for an amp that you no longer even own? :?:

Odd that the software doesn't work for you on two separate systems.... sounds like user error. Works fine for the rest of us, and for the few that do have problems, Loren's gotten them all squared away too!

But you set me on 'ignore', so you won't see this.... :lol:

Hey HungryWulf,

The name calling isn't necessary and won't be tolerated. As SoManyGuitars has pointed out, there are users that have experienced the same issue as yourself and are currently up and running. It sounds like you reached us after normal business hours (M-F 8am - 5pm MST) Perhaps there is a phone number where I an reach you. Please send it to my PM inbox.
