I recently got a new Mustang I amp and am still learning and experimenting with it. Also got a new LP guitar, which has P90 (single coil type) pups. Some of the presets made a lot of static, which detracted from the sound.

Thanks to a post I read on this forum which mentioned the noise gate setting under the advanced amp settings (only in FUSE, I don't think you can change it directly on the amp). Those settings on most of the presets were off, and when I changed them to high, voila!, the static disappeared.

I don't know what other effects, if any, these changes will have of the sound of the presets, but I'm enjoying my guitar and amp more now and wanted to share with others who may not know about this feature.
