Sorry for the terrible pun...

Anyhow, a few questions about Fuse and the rest of it. I have a Mustang III and a bunch of presets in there I've saved.

1)Am I going to lose them if I update the firmware?

I'm having to load Fuse on my GF's computer (my Mac is too old) but before I do so...

2) Does this mean that I will only ever be able to use it on her comp. or can I also use it later on a new comp if I get one? Is it a log on and use affair? I know it asks for a serial # but not sure if it can be loaded multiple times.

Thanks

1) Your presets are stored on your computer, so you shouldn't loose them.

2) I'm pretty sure you can download and install Fuse on multiple computers, it just detects whatever amp you plug into it. (I'm assuming.) But if you have presets stored on one computer, you'd have to back them up and install them on the other computer.

Thanks!

I just went for it... time with the girlfriends laptop was limited so just took the plunge. Didn't lose my original presets which was SWEET! Fun to goof around on but I can see FUSE being a major timesuck in my life so glad it's not on my computer. If I need further updates, it's on hers so that's nice...

Gonna get back to playing! I haven't tried my new tele w/ the MIII yet. Cheers

Hi JamGuy,

I am glad that all is well. So, Fender FUSE is installable on multiple systems, and does not require a license or authorization. Secondly, if you ever want or need to move your stored Presets from the current PC to a new/different one, you would want to copy the contents from the Fender folder in the following location: Documents/Fender/FUSE. Unless you have selected other/additional locations to store Fender FUSE data, this should get all your content from the one PC to another.

Please let me know if I can assist further.

Best Regards,
