finally got a notebook so i can play around with FUSE. it has 1.6GHz CPU & 2GB ram & 7800rpm disk speed.

yet, this FUSE sw seems really slow and runs up cpu usage to around 70-100% just sitting there doing nothing.

cpu usage goes back down to <10% when FUSE is shutdown.

so, is FUSE generally a slow responsive sw that grabs a lot of cpu usage or is it just me and my notebook?

other than that, its quite a neat functional right hand for this lil mustang I.

Hey mo4FFU,

You may want to try updating Silverlight to the latest version and uninstalling/reinstalling Fender FUSE.

It does run somewhat slow; I have a Windows 7 PC with 4 GB of ram and a 2.5 ghz processor, and it seems to run slow even on this machine.

thanks folks.

i did uninstall and reinstall FUSE, the latest from your site. same behavior. i didn't update silverlight but will.

will FUSE, at a later date allow user to chose which browser it links to? like chrome or firefox, though better to use silverlight than the over-bloated flash.

Hi mo4FFU,

Thanks for your question. For Windows Fender FUSE uses IE as its default browser. For the Mac OS, it uses Safari as its default browser. I don't think this is likely to change due to the fact that these are the default browsers of each respective OS.

Best Regards,
