I've followed the instructions, but my Mustang 1 is not connecting to Fender Fuse. It did initially, but not now. For the life of me, I can't figure out what's been changed. I tried another USB cable, but that wasn't it. I can hear the computer "clunk" when I connect/disconnect to a one year old Toshiba with an i3 processor. I can log in to Fuse with no problem.

Hey kdgrant6,

It sounds like a simple driver issue. What version of Windows are you using? If you're familiar with Device Manager go there with your amp plugged in, and under Universal Serial Bus Controllers, find the USB Composite Device listed there and right-click it and select uninstall. Then just disconnect and reconnect your amp. That should do it.

I can also walk you through it. Just give us a call.

Loren,
I spoke with you by phone and was able to resolve the problem initially through Device Manager by removing all the USB devices and plugging in the Mustang 1. However, my Focusrite Saffire 6 USB interface would not show up. I restarted the computer (Toshiba i3, Win7). Then the Focusrite showed up, but not the Mustang.

Help.

So, basically, it sounds like you're back to square one. When you connect the Mustang, do you at least hear the chime form the computer?
