A few days ago I noticed that when I would go to apply a delay to a preset that did not have one already have it there wasn't a delay effect (I have the Mustang I). Finally today I hooked it up to my computer and while in Fuse, when I clicked on the MOD DLY/RVB knobs at the top center of Fuse, the effects were not there. Instead a series of squares, dashes, and other computer code-like font where effects like Chorus, Tape Delay, etc. should be.
I updated firmware a few times with no results then restored it to a previous backup (Jan 11) and that did the job. Since then it has been working fine, but while I was trying to figure out the square/dash scenario I was really looking for an "edit effect type" button - which I've yet to come across - and my question is can you edit what effects are added when you turn the MOD and DLY knobs? I never understood why "distortion" wasn't one of the effects you could add and would love to customize that in the same way I can the presets. So any help or insight would be appreciated.

Hi, both the MOD and RVB/DLY knob can be fully editted using FUSE when the amp is connected via USB. click on the effects at the top of the fuse screen and select a position. This can be done either using the software or the physical amp knobs. You can then edit the effects and save them to the slot using the save button on the amp, or using the fuse software.
You can only assign MOD and DLY/RVB to the respective knobs. the stompboxes cannot be programmed to the amp in this way. however the effects programmed can be either pre or post amp depending upon your preference.

Hope this helps
