All,

I just got my Mustang III and am loving it. However, I hated that the presets weren't organized in any reasonable manner... so... Thanks to p90sdude and his post here, and ischenitte's Horse Tamer software...

I was able to put together an backup folder that organizes Fender's Mustang III presets by amplifier type. I thought this arrangement made sense so that you could say, "I want a british 70s sound, so I'll dial from 44-53 to see which one I like the best". I've also included an excel spreadsheet that shows the preset list. You can download that file at the following link:

http://www.4shared.com/file/9MHO_A5L/2011_06_24_23_23_27.html?

Additionally, I wanted to have an organized default preset list with some open slots at the end so I can download user created files. I went and deleted my least favorite default presets (mostly the ones that have strange modifiers on them, like phaser and super-slow tremolo) to open up 14 open slots from 85-99 (all set to "active clean" at the moment). That can be found here:

http://www.4shared.com/file/5EG5oPTj/2011_06_25_00_49_21.html?

To use, unzip the files and copy them to this directory:
... user > Documents > Fender > FUSE > Backups

Then, use the "restore" feature in the Fuse software and dial to the appropriate backup name. Be sure to backup your current presets first if you want to hold onto them.

If you want to understand more about the file structure, click on ps90sdude's thread.

Thanks all, and I hope this is helpful for people!

PS - I don't know much about 4shared, so if someone else wants to host the files elsewhere, please feel free to do so.

I know it's been a while. Are these organized presets and spreadsheet still available? Not on 4shared.

Thanks
