I must be missing something in getting the full 222 to work. It installs but I cannot
get the fender amp on the computer screen.

I am the administrator and just to be safe I clicked on administrator after 4 failures.

I had no trouble with early updates but I cannot get the fenderfuse to show up on my computer when I click on the fenderfuse to open.

Installation Instructions on your website:

Download Fender FUSE 2.2.2 for Windows.
If asked whether to Run or Save, click Save.
Double-click the installer to run the Fender FUSE installation. Make sure you have closed any previous versions of Fender FUSE before running the installer.
Follow the on screen prompts to install Fender FUSE.
After installing Fender FUSE 2.2.0, please disconnect and reconnect the amp's USB cable.

A couple of times I reinstalled the very first two installs of fenderfuse - amp came up on my computer with no problem. However, using full 222 - nothing. Then I eliminated all previous versions of fenderfuse and went with full 222. It installs, but when I click on the FenderFuse launcher nothing happens. I cannot understand what I am doing wrong. I left the amp with the connection on for the last install and still nothing.

I have a toshiba laptop, windows 7 64 bit, 4gigs of ram, and I'm the only user and administrator on this laptop.

Looking for some fresh insite as to what is happening.

Try uninstalling any fuse versions, then uninstall the silverlight. Now try installing the full version of ver 2.2.2. It will install silverlight with it. That's how I got it to work on mine.

I uninstalled silverlight and fenderfuse. I also did a restart on windeows. Then I downloaded a fresh full version 222 windows and had it rewrite over the one I kept in a separate file.

As fenderfuse was installing it said it must have silverlight installed or would not install.
The fenderfuse exe downloaded and installed silverlight and then finished installation.
Did a restart of windows and clicked on fender fuser launcher. Fenderfuse screen came
up, quick flash of fenderfuse is installing and then a black screen.

I then did a defrag and the same problem occurred.

Back to square one - so need help.

I'm sorry you're experiencing an issue with FUSE.

A few things to check.

Open the Silverlight program in your programs menu. Click the Application Storage tab and ensure that the Enable Application Storage check box is checked.

Right-click on the FUSE program, and select Properties. Click the Compatibility tab and make sure the Compatibility Mode check box is not checked.

HI Loren,
I did check the two items and they are correct per your email. I called Tech support yesterday and the tech tried for quite a while to get me up and running. They had me send them a log out of fender fuse to investigate why Fender Fuse crashes as soon as I connect the amp to the laptop.

I was having a horrible time trying to get fender fuse to work but finally got that squared away and I am awaiting a answer from the software team.

I had a few viruses get into my laptop early because I was not doing scan's often enough, so I have had several head aches with my laptop. All the viruses are gone now and it looks like the laptop is running efficiently.

The amp is now restored to original settings as the tech that I was talking to had me do a series of activities but to no success. I use the laptop mainly for viewing video's guitar lessons, etc. Will be happy to have my settings back in place when this problem gets fixed.

I talked with tech support yesterday after 5:00 pm so I expect an answer in the next or two
