presets won't get uploaded if the author remains "Fender Fuse" if I'm correct, therefore how does one change the author's name to one's own so uploading can be performed?
Thanking anyone in anticipation for a work-around on this.

You have to log in on the FUSE community site, then make a small change (like adding notes of explanation to your preset), then save it, and it should be saved with your user name. You might have to unplug your amp from the computer after you have the preset loaded in FUSE.

I've never encountered that! Maybe you should get with tech support via phone to figure it out?!?

Good luck!

I just looked into uploading presets myself and this is my very first complaint about Fuse. Why isn't there just a dedicated button that says, "Upload Presets"? There's not one in the Presets tab, Author Profile, nothing. You have to right-click a preset in the Media Library to upload it? Really? What, is this still 1997 that it's deemed too hard to put an upload button on the Fuse Edit Window or anywhere in the Fuse Window? Really?
Wouldn't it be more efficient if you could tweak a patch or select a bunch of patches in the Media Library and just hit the upload button? My point is that users shouldn't have to search the support site to read about something so stupidly simple thing as uploading patches. You should need to read anything at all if they'd done it right. Fender touts the ability to share user created patches so WHY hide that feature from them with an unnecessarily idiotic right-click?

O.
