Hi ischenitte,

I found the problem to the error box coming up all the time. The information you sent me on what to look at really helped. The problem was a rouge preset in the preset directory.
The errored preset was MU_Backupname. Where it came from I do not know, but once I deleted it, everything in Horse Tamer started working again. Thanks so much for the help.

John (64 year young disabled rocker)

Hi John

Thank you for your feedback, I'm happy that it works now, and I hope that the faulty file wasn't produced by HorseTamer. As you have sent me the files, maybe I can see some problems in there.

ischenitte, thanks so much for your awesome software! Using Horse Tamer and ps90sdude's info, I was able to organize the Mustang III's default presets by amplifier type, which seems logical enough to me...

Based on your suggestion and my hope to give back to you and the community for your help, I've started a new thread where you can download the backup files. Hope you or someone else finds it useful.

Ischenitte,
I have an HP Mini 110 I am using your Horse Tamer sw on and the window happens to be a bit larger than the screen size. The window will not allow me to re-size it which becomes a problem since it is to big for the screen and I can't see the bottom presets. Any idea on how this could be fixed. Thanks for your assistance.

Thank you,
John

Hi John
At the moment the screen size is fixed ... I think it should be possible to make it resizeable. Have to look after it. As I'm on holiday now in Italy for the next two weeks, I cannot fix it right now.

How is your screen resolution? I think a minimal resolution is needed to allow a good work.

A fix is not immediately necessary. The resolution is set to the best for this mobile pc. It is mainly the bottom part of the display that doesn't show. So when you are editing the presets I am unable to see like the last 6 -10 presets. Thanks again for your help.

Thanks,
John

Hello ischenitte,

I downloaded/installed Horse Tamer today. When I select the settings tab, browse to the FUSE folder, and click save I get an error message saying it "is no valid FUSE folder". I've checked with explorer and the folder and subfolders (AmpData, Audio, and Presets) are there. Oddly, if I select one of the subfolders the app saves the setting with no errors (still doesn't display any presets of course).

What have I done wrong?

Thanks

I have the same problem. "No valid FUSE folder" when trying all of them: Fender, AmpData, Presets, etc.

Ischenitte,
Please ignore my post. It was a local system config problem. Somehow my "My Documents" folder had been redirected to the "Recent" system folder. Surprised my profile booted at all.

I'm now up and running. Thanks for the way cool app!

Ischenitte, Thanks for your suggestion. I downloaded your app but I have a few questions. First, when I went to open the Tamer I get a message " Folder C;\User is no valid fuse folder" or something to that order . . . is this normal? Second, when it did open I see what appears to be a way of listing the presets or something. What do I do with this or how do I apply it? It looks good, I really haven't had a chance to play with this so any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again, Roger
