I had troubles with my hard drive recently. I have resolved those problems. However, I have to reinstall fender-fuse software. I had made changes to my amp settings - in the hard drive - 93, 66, 00, etc. Is there a way for me to save those presets? I know as soon as I hook up the amp to fender fuse - which will not have any of my older presets - I lose all that work I did to set them up.

I noticed you have a full version of fender fuse. Does that automatically check that I have
windows 7 64 bit and takes care of that issue? or do I have to install the original version and then upgrade?

Hi ballina,

I'm not sure I am following you completely. But it sounds like you are needing to do a reinstall of Fender FUSE and do a backup of Presets once you recreate them. So, you can get the current version of Fender FUSE here: http://www.fender.com/support/articles/ ... n-download. And once you are up and running again, you can go to Main Menu in Fender FUSE, select Utilities and Back Up. And feel free to contact us directly if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

Sorry for not being clear.

I had to delete fenderfuse software and fix other files, etc. Now that everything on my laptop is working properly I need to reinstall fender fuse.

My questions are - when I connect the amp to my laptop for fenderfuse software - when it sync's up - will it delete all the information that I had changed on different presets within the normal 100 presets that comes with the software. for instance - I changed preset 00, 93, 96, etc. with different setups within fenderfuse than what preset came with.

Next, if the sync up does erase all that information - how can I save my presets that I changed? or are you telling me that I can backup the data as soon as I sync the amp to the software? However your statement recreate them means a lot of work for me if that is the case as I did not take notes on all the changes I did to these presets.

Your reply sounds like I would lose that data. Is there a way that I can copy these changed presets that are in the amp - maybe to the SD card ?

Is there a procedure to save a preset in the amp to the sd card? (the original presets are the ones I changed) In other words work with the buttons on the amp to get the presets saved on the sd card? Not sync up with the fenderfuse software. I'm not 100% up to date as to whether that will work or not.

Lastly - does the full install include working with windows 7, 64 bit? Should I install the original software on the dvd first and then to a update or just do the full install software version knows what to do with 64 bit systems?

Thank you
Rose Gatto

Hi ballina,

No worries. So, if you have Presets in your amp now that you would like to use/Back Up, etc., you can back up to an SD card. To do this you would enter the Utility Menu on the amp (press and hold the Exit button for 2-3 seconds), and arrow left or right to the Export To SD page. Press either soft key under the center of the display, and the amp will back up to your SD card.

Also, when you connect your amp to Fender FUSE, the software will sync and see the content that is already on the amp rather than changing it. And Fender FUSE is fully compatible with Windows 7 (32 & 64 bit). I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if I can assist further.

Best Regards,
