I have been spending a very enjoyable afternoon tweaking the presets on the old Stang to something useable, but have run into a small problem re-programming the DLY/RVB knob

In general everything has gone swimmingly, and I was able to save combinations of delay reverb to the knob up til slots d1-d3. The FUse allows me to save just reverb , but theen when I turn the D/R knob on the amp or the amp model knob, the original delay settings reappear in D1-D3 with the reverb I have saved.

This is either a glitch with FUSE not saving the file to the amp, or a firmware problem on the amp not allowing the original presets to be modded in a different combination to what was originally there ie will only allow delay+reverb in d1-d3 as that is the amp default.

Any suggestions or ideas why this may be- maybe a bug that needs fixing in next revision?

Hi colos,

It sounds like the Presets may not be getting a "confirm" on Save. Are you selecting Save in Fender FUSE and confirming the Save as well? So if the Save light is still lit on the amp when you change to another Preset, the settings will revert back. Please check this, and if this is not the issue, please send us an email and we can provide additional direct support to you. Thanks.

Best Regards,

Hi guys,

same problem here (latest Firmware, v.1.7.4).
I've tracked down the problem and found a workaround.

This is my scenario:

1) I have a Reverb and a Delay and want to save it via Fuse with "Save Effects" to DLY/RVB-slot A1. I get the "Save Delay/Reverb" dialog with the checkboxes "Current Delay" and "Current Reverb". I check them both and everything is fine.

2) I want to remove the Delay, so I click the little cross in the upper right corner of the Delay. Then I press "Save effect" again (to slot A1). This time I'm getting the "Save Reverb" dialog only, because I don't have a Delay left. BUT NOW only the Reverb is saved, and NOT the deleted Delay. When I use my DLY/RVB-Knob to dial in A1, the Delay is still there.

3) To get rid of the Delay, I click on the Delay, so that the Delay is fully zoomed in in the middle section of Fuse. Then I delete the Delay with the little Cross and press "Save effects". Now I get the "Save Reverb" dialog again. But the suggested save-name is "None + 65FenderSpring". Somehow Fuse knows know, that I have no Delay left and saves the Reverb without Delay.

I would be happy, if this issue could be solved in a future update.

Thanks,
jsm-de

Thanks jsm,

i haven't had a chance to address this since last weekend, it is strange though that it only affects d1-d3 on my fuse/amp, all the other slots behaved themselves!
I was going to re-arrange my effects so that d1-d3 contained delay plus reverb, but I will try your workaround now. Will let you know how i get on.

Once again, thanks!

Colos

@jsm,

that work around fixed the problem, obviously a glitch somewhere in the firmware or FUSE.

Thanks again
:D

Hey Guys,

We have been able to reproduce this bug. It will be resolved in an upcoming version of Fender FUSE.
