Hi Salmiak,

We may be able to get one of our engineers to assist in German. They are very busy with projects of course. Is there any way we could speak with you and assist in English to start?

Please send an email along to the address below. And we can go from there. Thanks.

Best Regards,

I may have a similar problem, I can start fuse, see a flash of a window that says loading... or someting then my screen turns black and there is no response what however.

I've re-downloaden and installed Fuse and al my updates (as far as I know are in order).

3.06 GHZ Intel core 2 duo Mac with 4 gb DDR3 memory.

Two things: FUSE needs at least Mac OS 10.5.8 and an Intel Mac to operate. And it is slow. I mean it is slooooow...

I run FUSE 2.3.0 on Mac OS 10.6.8 on a Mac similar to yours. After installation FUSE needed 2 minutes to start. And even now after the libraries are initialized, and preferences are set, it needs some 30 seconds to start. Sometimes it starts with a white window, then turns to black, and after a while loads the actual application window. Sometimes it starts with the "Loading..." screen.

Once FUSE has started it is working pretty slow. Commands like renaming or moving presets can take some seconds, sometimes one can get the impression the application hangs, but it doesn't.

So I recommend to simply wait after you started FUSE. And be aware you need patience when working with FUSE, even on a fast Mac. Version 2.3.0 does work reliable for me, I never experienced a failure when editing presets or on data exchange with the Mustang amp, but it surely is the slowest application I've ever seen on my Mac.

Hey LongMan,

Fender FUSE shouldn't be behaving as you described. Try updating to the latest version of MS Silverlight here:
http://www.silverlight.net/downloads

Salmiak and Kokkie - Give us a call directly. I"m sure we'll be able to get you going.

I have had some problems installing silverlight on my mac with installing fuse 2.3.0.
It kept saying can not install silverlight cause ther is a newer version of silverlight on your mac.
Funny thing was that there wasn't any version of silverlight installed on my mac at all.
So I just downloaded the latest silverlight version and then installed it for the first time on my mac, and tried to install fuse 2.3.0 again and it skipped the silverlight part and installed fuse 2.3.0.
So I got it working after a lot of blood sweat and tears.

But I have to agree with Longman, it 's working verry slow even with the latest silverlight version.
And I don't understand why you need a microsoft related program like silverlight on a Mac to run Fuse 2.3.0.
The old version of Fuse didn't need the silverlight instalation for what I know.

Hey Guys,

Hey Pete - Fender FUSE is coded in Silverlight for cross platform compatiblity. Version 1.1.3 was the last version to not require Silverlight. It was Windows only.

Salmiak - Our contact info is in my sig.
