On the G-DEC is it possible to use presets right off of the SD card or do you have to add them to the amp by replacing an existing preset? And if so where can i find instructions on how to do it?

Welcome to the Fender forums, samaybe. It's possible to preview a Preset from the SD card but if you'd like to edit it, you'll have to load it into one of the 100 slots.

To preview a Preset, hold down the EXIT button to access the Utility menu. Then, use the arrow soft keys to navigate to the Import screen. Turn the encoder knob to scroll through your SD card Presets. Each preset you scroll through can be auditioned immediately.

Keep in mind that the Presets must be in the Presets folder on your SD card.
