Hey, I was wondering the same thing. I've been trying to figure out how but no luck. It would be sweet if the drum and / or bass tracks could be isolated. That would be much more useful to me as most of the band tracks just don't work for my playing style.

YES! I had hoped the GDec would allow deletion of the lead lines and I could use just the backing track. What's the point of having the lead line? That's what you want to improvise yourself.

Hey Guys,

You can easily solo the drums of MIDI Band Tracks on the G-DEC 3, the same as you could with the earlier models. The difference is that the G-DEC 3 is centered around actual audio files and not MIDI files. If you have a MIDI Band Track selected instead of an audio Band Track, the drum solo feature can be found in the Band menu.
