Hello everybody, this is my first post. I just signed up to this forum because I've got a problem concerning the "Effects Configuration" section in Fuse.

When I turn my DLY/REV knob on my amp (which is a Mustang II) the previously saved reverb and delay settings on the DLY/REV knob slots in Fuse will be overwritten by the standard settings (which are still stored in the amp). Is this proper?
I'd like to know if it's possible to save these reverb/delay settings in Fuse to the DLY/REV knob on my amp. I believe it is, based on what I've read in both the amp and the Fuse manual.
Quote:
"You can completely change the effects list on your
Mustang™ amplifier using Fender® FUSE™ software
available at http://www.fender.com/support.

By the way, I presume the same thing will happen when I use the MOD knob in Fuse, but I can't fonfirm it because I haven't yet used that option.

Edit:
I've just discovered that in Fuse, the reverb settings I dialed in before, will restore once I
save something in a reverb/delay slot. This does not solve my problem though, I'm still unable to switch betweet these different effect settings on my amplifiers DLY/REV knob.

I think I know what your queston is but not sure . . . so here goes . .. .

With FUSE running and connected to your amp.

Remember: When you make a change in either FUSE or directly on the AMP it goes to a "buffer". It is ONLY when you do a SAVE in FUSE or the AMP that it become a part of the Patch.

If you don't what to save your changes simply change (in FUSE or from the AMP) to a different patch. That will discard any changes you made to the original.

If you want to SAVE your changes you must do a SAVE and give the patch a NEW name. Calling it the same thing is a no-no.

If you look at the SAVE BUTTON on the amp it will be RED if you have made any changes to remind you to either Save the changes or open a different patch to discard.

NOTE: depressing the EXIT BUTTON does not deleate anything - you much change a patch to discard your settings.

Also, to my knowledge, if you make multiple changes in a Patch there is no way to save some and discard others - so if you plan to make several changes it is a good idea to make a copy of the original patch with an extension in the name like "PatchName2"
Then make your changes. This way if you forget any of the settings in the original and want to go back to check you can save the patch you are working on, check the original patch and then go back to the new patch.

Good luck, Bo

I didn't know I had to press the save button on the amplifier, I've stored all my reverb settings now, thanks!
