It would be really interesting to include a looper function in Fuse, particularly because we have already:

-Fuse can play audio files
-you can connect the amp back to the PC for recording
-mustang 3 and UP and GDECs come with pedal switches

The only thing missing is the actual recording+looper code in Fuse

For an excellent example of a (FREE) based PC looper se Mobius

I think this would be a really killer app that would distinguish Fuse from the competition.

Well, as I said already here http://www.fender.com/community/forums/viewtopic.php?p=887890#p887890 I would like to have a reset possibility for the "Save Effects" Function.

I'm sure this subject has been covered a few times, but I thought I'd weigh in as well.

Having recently acquired a Super Champ X2, I'm excited about the possibilities it has to offer. My reason for getting it was to lighten my load of having to lug around a 50 watt combo amp up & down stairs at practice every week, and then having to turn down to where tone was lacking. The Super Champ seems to offer a great deal of versatility in a small portable package. However...

The only thing that keeps me from taking this amp even semi-seriously is the fact I'm pretty much locked into two sounds at any given time... the clean channel and the amp model channel. What I would need is a USB floor pedal device that would allow me to select any of the given amp models on the fly during a performance. That way I could program some crunchy rhythm patches, some over-driven/volume-boosted lead patches, and a variety of other distinct patches that I could select by foot. It would basically be a multi-switch USB pedal device with the Fuse logic stored on a ROM chip of some sort. It'd be a perfect revenue generating accessory that Fender (or some other entrepreneurial individual) could offer!

- Steve

make it independent of the modulation bank..

Provide a sequencing dialog like those used to let musicians toggle synths to anywhere on the soundfont setup browser of Qsynth. All the work I've done on y M3 has been just reordering the existing presets (I prefer to do it by style, leaving the first 10 for my mostly used mix). This has already been suggested but I would add the ability to sort on any of the effect database fields as well and right on the amp so that in one second I could run all the big-hall sounds to the top for example.

they'll love this one, backlit servoed knobs that turn with the preset activated, they probably cost $1 apiece in china, the rest is just coding.

The Mustang amps' way of doing many things will probably dictate to many other even less digital species of amps.

How about an option to

1
record either everything playing including the backing track or only the guitar

2
Volume and a wide-range tone control associated with the aux input port. I find that I have to grossly increase bass in an equalizer before saving and feeding-in as a backing track. This could be because guitar amps have a necessarily high treble bias, I wouldn't know but the phenomenon is very noticeable using audio exported by Rosegarden the midi composer suite for example.

Being able to edit system/setup parameters in FUSE, very handy for the Floor model which has a lot these parameters.

MIDI through the USB port (along with the MIDI ports).

Not sure it this has been posted but I would like to be able to configure a second expresion pedal so I can control the volume with one and use the other as a wah. I have found that activating the wah requires moving through the loudest setting on the Volume before activation and then the wah is at maximum volume while engaged. Reducing the volume on the guitar usually affects the tone.

Hi lyonsp61,

You can assign the EXP-1 to follow your Preset settings and have it be in Volume mode in one Preset and in expression mode in another. This will require you to switch Presets to change this. But it is possible to create the behavior you are describing this way. You can select the mode for this in the EXP-1 settings window via the Fender FUSE 'Main Menu'. Please let us know if we can assist further.

How about the ability to reorder presets on the Mustang III amp in the right order before playing a gig?

Hi micklamm,

It sounds like you are requesting a re-order Presets list feature. I will pass along your feedback to the right folks here. Please let us know if we can assist with anything further.

How about the ability to play a sample in fuse to allow parameter setting without having to connect guitar/amp. At the moment I can spend hours crafting presets on my laptop and I don't have a clue what they will sound like when I'm plugged in!
