I would prefer if a future version had a much more detailed selection of effects.

Such as if you wanted different kinds of fuzz and overdrive. Like come on guys imagine if they added accurate models for the Sola Sound Tonebender MKII, Big Muff pi, and Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face. Not only would the models be accurate, but you could choose them by the actual name. So far you only have one model of each effect that's supposed to be some general representation. But good guitarists know real tone and know all overdrive and fuzz pedals have their own qualities and distinct tone. That applies with all effects though. Here's a small list of suggestions:

Sola Sound Tonebender MKII
Big Muff pi
Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face
Dunlop Uni-Vibe
MXR Flanger
MXR M-101 Phase 90
MXR Blue Box

That would be really cool to have the Fender Fuse software as an app on my Android tablet or smartphone!
I really hope Fender will develop such an app for Android like the one $@! Amplitube for the iPad or iPhone.

Is there a way to preview a preset or band file prior to downloading it?
Thank you.

Hi garykahn,

Thanks for your inquiry. You can preview Band Tracks via the Preview Player on the Fender® FUSE™ Community site when you are logged in and have selected a specific Band Track page. There you will see a play arrow and a progress/position bar towards the upper left area of your screen. In regard to Presets, they have to be downloaded and can then be auditioned on the amp before saving. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

My wish would be to be able to add an over drive and a booster or compressor simultaneously.

This can be done on the GDec...use the advanced amp setting in Fuse and a compressor appears on the right hand side, just above the stomp box area. There are drop down preset settings or you can create your own and there's a gain control as well.
I have no idea what's available for the Mustang amps.
hth,
Alex

Doesn't work with the mustang. At least as far as I can tell.

Another useful feature would be a "Save As" option. I'm still learning Fuse but it seems very straight forward, I would just like to be able to change cabs or amps or whatever on a preset, and if I like it as a new setting, do a save as and alter the name but still keep my original.

That's unfortunate that the compressor doesn't appear in Fuse with the Mustang amplifier.
Again, with the G Dec, when I make a change to a preset (using Fuse) and click on the save button, I get a dialog box in Fuse called Choose Location which gives me the chance to change the preset name as well as the preset number. This doesn't appear for the Mustang?

I figured out the Save As. Its in the "Main Menu" in the upper left. Big help. I want to be able to Rename presets to have the Amp used first then very brief description (one or two words) after the amp name. When I want to save it to the amp, i've been right clicking on the preset and selecting the amp as the location. I'm on a mac.

Ah...a mac 8)
Several of my friends have told me that I should get a mac for my next computer. Perhaps I will :)
I think I'd better stop hijacking this thread
cheers,
Alex

Among other things which I've already seen here...

Could the amp please revert to the same setting you were using when you switched it off instead of going back to 00 each time?

Make it able to recognize as many of these amps as are plugged into individual usb connections, either directly or through a hub.
