Hiya guys, I thought it would be good if we could collate the things we would like to be able to do in Fuse, keep it one place and who knows, maybe Fender will pick up on it and we'll see it in a later version.

I will keep this first post updated on a regular basis with any of your suggestions (I made a start and trawled a few threads for some of these):

1. Ability to re-arrange presets quickly and easily

2. Add the ablility to assign presets to the two button switch when combined with the four button switch. Essentially providing a 4th and 5th preset option.

3. Provide empty user preset slots so that we can keep our current 100 Factory Presets as they are

4. Provide an independent volume slider for band tracks so the volume can be set independently of the amp

5. Allow band tracks to continue playing if a user changes a preset on the amp (currently the band track stops and has to be re-selected)

6. Make it MANDATORY for users to fill out all the data fields before they are allowed to upload a preset (so many presets out there with no information)

7. More amp models, stompbox pedals and effects added to fuse, for example:stompbox modeling would be good to add to fuse like the model of the ibanez tube screamer overdrive, mxr distortion +,mxr flanger, etc...

8. Be able to use common multi-select (shift-click, control-click) mouse methods in the Media Library

9. Be able to select and download multiple presets or band tracks from the Web.

10. Hotkeys (shortcut keys) wherever its doable and makes sense.

11. Some reporting capabilities (Media library listings, preset info, etc) - See post 10 below by 'lesbeat' for further info

12. Paremetric EQ - i.e. the ability to define the center frequency of the midrange boost/cut control. Perhaps also the freq of the Bass and Treble controls as well. This would give great flexibility to the amp models beyond even the original amps being modeled.

13. Auto volume, so you can do those cool steel guitar vol swells

14. Ability to use more than 1 stomp at a time

15. Mobile (iPhone, Android etc) version of FUSE

16. Harmonic pitch shifter. First you select the scale, like A major, then you select the pitch, like major 3rd. The pitch shifter plays the second note based on the selected scale

17. Preset quick summary page.... i.e. display or print a quick list of all parameters set for a particular preset. This could be done either as a separate page for each preset, or in a spreadsheet format including all 100 presets or a selected few.

18. On the band tracks; delete the lead line and just use the drum, bass, etc. backing track. That's what I got the GDec for. Thanks!

19. Some way of setting the defaults for all Amps and effects - so they could be quickly switched into the current preset without having to retweak everytime. This would seriously improve useability.

20. A Gain reduction LED on the compressors - very important to setting them up.

21. A REAL Manual

22. Tooltips or some kind of easily accessible description as to what each effect parameter does.

23. Some ideas on how one could use each effect

24.Fine tuning control. For example when I click on the Gain I can move the virtual dial with my mouse, but to dial in a more precise setting it would be cool if I could use the Up and Down arrows to fine tune. Or if I could just type in a numeric value rather than messing with the virtual dial.

25.An acoustic amp model, maybe based on one of Fender's own 'acoustasonic' amps, would certainly be a useful addition.

Any others we could add to the list?

Thanks!

Pinky.

I would also like to see more amp models, stompbox pedals and effects added to fuse, for example:stompbox modeling would be good to add to fuse like the model of the ibanez tube screamer overdrive, mxr distortion +,mxr flanger,ect...,fender could add these effects for free to current and new owners of the g-dec and mustang amps, this would greatly boost the sales of these amps for fender and would have the competition thinking why they did not think of this first.

Be able to use common multi-select (shift-click, control-click) mouse methods in the Media Library. The primary one that I'd like to see, is to be able to select and download multiple presets or band tracks from the Web.

Could you expand on this with a bit more detail? Thanks!

The abilty to generate reports in various output formats (html, pdf, text, etc) based on filtering and selected fields.
For example, I want a detailed report with all presets that are using the Bassman amp that have chorus and delay. I then might send a copy of that report to a friend who has a real Bassman amp.
Another example, is I might want a report with all presets that have the cabinet set to off because someone asked me for that info.
Another example is, of course, creating hardcopy cheat sheets.

The goal would be to quickly and easily provide the users with helpful information so they don't have to spend a lot of time digging around for it.

Does that answer your question?

These may not be FUSE issues, but firmware issues.

1) Parametric EQ (Equalization) i.e. the ability to define the center frequency of the midrange boost/cut control. Perhaps also the freq of the Bass and Treble controls as well. This would give great flexibility to the amp models beyond even the original amps being modeled.

2) Ability to use more than one stompbox at a time...

3) already mentioned... drag and drop file management with auto move down, etc...

4) a version of fuse for android, iphone, pads, etc to allow quik updates and downloads without lugging a laptop around all the time.

How about a harmonic pitch shifter? First you select the scale, like A major, then you select the pitch, like major 3rd. The pitch shifter plays the second note based on the selected scale -> Brian May solo stuff :)

You are compiling a great list, Pinky. Thanks a lot.

Here's another one....

Preset quick summary page.... i.e. display or print a quick list of all parameters set for a particular preset. This could be done either as a separate page for each preset, or in a spreadsheet format including all 100 presets or a selected few. like this..

Preset Name: Fender Magic 6

Amp model: 65 Deluxe
Gain: 6
Volume: 5
Treble: 6
Midrange: 3
Bass: 2
Brightness: on
Reverb: 6
Reverb type: 65 Spring, pre
Sag: 8 O'Clock (or whatever value it is)
Bias: -5 less
Speaker Cabinet: 4-12V

Stomp:
Simple Compression: High

Mod:
Sine Chorus: In effects loop
Frequency: .25 Hz
Level: 50%
Depth: 30
Phase: 25
(add additional chorus parameters here,...... etc.)

This would be handy for record keeping or sharing with others who may not have immediate access to Fuse, or for comparing several similar presets to determine which one is desired.
