Has anyone had success connecting to a Mustang amp with the Mac booted in 64-bit (the default mode for Snow Leopard on machines that have 64-bit CPUs)?

I can only get connected to my Mustang II when I boot my Mac in 32-bit kernel mode. Something tells me the kexts (device drivers) are 32-bit only. Can anyone from Fender confirm the "bitidness" of the Mac kexts?

Anyone? If you've had success with 64-bit mode Mac OS X, would you mind sharing what you did to make this work? Thanks!

Hey Smeagol,

It appears that a recent Mac OS update has caused an incompatibility with FUSE running in 64 bit mode. We've been working on a fix for it. Please contact us directly and we can get you going.

Just wanted to follow-up: the build you sent me does indeed fix the problem!!! So, I can boot natively on my Mac (64-bit kernel mode) and I can connect to my Mustang II, no problems!

Thanks for the fix!! Love the Mustang II.

Have you downloaded Fender FUSE 2.2.2? That version specifically addresses the issue you're seeing.
