Ok I've finally got the band tracks working and run back to the amp so I can hear with headphones. After Jammin for awhile I thought I'd change presets on a lead lick. As soon as I did the track stops. I've tried both the computer and footswitch to change with the same results. I don't think this should happen. Can this be fixed? It would help me on using this amps features to the fullest. And how I'd use if playing live using tweaked presets. Lorean, thanks in advance for your help. :D I just updated the firmware on my M IV with your beta

Given that Mustang band tracks are basically just MP3 and/or wav files, you could play them with another computer based music player - even good old Windows Media Player - via the computer and they would then keep running uninterrupted while you twiddle away at the options in FUSE to your hearts content.

Technically it's working as it should. Is the Band Track assigned to that preset? Switching to another preset basically changes the preset and the Band Track assigned to it.

Thanks for the reply Loren.
I don't think I've assigned anything to anything. At least not knowingly. I have created two new folders with the presets in one and the band tracks in the other. But I spent the rest of the night going thru and downloading tracks and presets from the community. I could probably use media player but I like having just one window active. I haven't tried changing the FX's while using the band tracks so that may be the way to get my desired results. I'm still learning the software I've only had my MIV a little over week. One thing I must say is I found the video's @fender.com on ableton more helpful than at ablelton.com I hope one on recording a guitar track then dubbing to it is in the works. I'll probably get it figured out eventually.

Thanks Again
