I bought a Mustang II like a month ago, and I've been trying to install fender fuse on my mac since then.

First, I downloaded the version 2.1.0.8, when the installer finish it asked me to reinstall, after restarting, I tried to launch fuse, but nothing happened, when I try to launch it, seems like the icon want to appear in dock, but close immediately, i've tried everything, i've even format my but didn't work.

Then i tried the new 2.2.0 version but I got the same result.

please I need some help!

my mac is a macbook intel core duo, snow leopard 10.6.6, 2 gb ram.

If your Mac is 64-bit, you have to run FUSE in 32-bit mode. That might be it.

FUSE will run in 64-bit mode. Maybe try running repair permissions in Disk Utility. Most Mac issues we come across are permissions related.

By reformatting you mean that you formatted (erased) your drive and reinstalled Mac OS from the disc, correct? I've never seen a software issue on any OS that a complete reformat didn't fix.

What hardware do you have connected to your Mac? Do you have any Norton or "system tweak" apps installed and running.

Very strange coche_9009. You should contact us directly by phone. This doesn't sound like something that we've seen before.

Fender FUSE requires an Intel Mac. You'll need a new Mac.

PLUG should run on PPC Mac's. The only problem is that I don't have one so I can't compile it for you. Also Qt and libusb-1.0 must be compiled as developers are not distributing versions for PPC architecture.
If anyone here is familiar with compilation and is willing to do this I can provide any help needed from PLUG side.

Im in the same boat as he others .. now have a powermac G5 .. look like no more FUSE for me. It ran great on my Samsung laptop but these Mac issues seems excessively complicated.
