OK I been making changes to the orginal DEC presets and have been adding songs by deleting some of the standard songs. Made back ups on my computer but now I'm having trouble trying to load them back into the GDEC amp from the FUSE sotware.

How do you download complete presets and media songs from the FUSE software back to the GDEC amp? I figured out how to load the County and Blues by using SD cards with no problem. I want to do the same with my orginial presets and songs on a SD card. When I inserted the SD card with my backups nothing happens to load my orginial amp settings. Help

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick response.

I just put the SD card with the orginal backup files in the GDEC and I went to Utilities and changed Memory to off and the SD card is unlock. It tries to load the backup files then it stops and the amp says Memory lock.

It appears the Country Amp settings keep the GDEC Memory lock. Tried several time to un-lock the Memory which it does until I run the Restore program. Any ideas to why this is happening.

Thanks

OK I was able to download what was in memory which was the Country Sounds. However in the media player I have all of my orginal backups.

OK how do I get them to the Amp?

Thanks

It seems I can't unlock the DEC Amp. Try several times by turning knob so that the off appears in the view window but when I try to restore the settings it states that Memory is Locked.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks

After you change the setting, are you properly exiting the edit mode?

Thanks for responding.

I went back and performed the memory off setting in the Utility section and exited completely out the Utility program. Loaded my SD chip with my presets and media and when back into Utilites and tried to restore my presets. It found the SD chip looked like it was downloading the presets then the same old Memory Locked screen came up again.

Really lost on this one. I usually can figure these things out.

Over my head.

Help!

E-mail or call Loren as I suggested! A call will work better, so he can make suggestions and you can test them on the spot.

Hey Alan,

How did you perform the backup? I assume you used the Backup function in Fender FUSE. If so, you can use the Restore function in FUSE to restore your backup to the amp. Does that help at all or am I not understanding you?
