Hi, I have the latest version of Fuse and Windows XP. I cannot locate in the Fuse Guide how to bring in patches that are saved on the computer hard drive. Through trial and error I have managed to bring in patches, but there must be an easier way. The problem I have is that when I select save on the computer the red light on the amp is lite. So I have to go to it and perform the save steps there. I don't think this is right. The Fuse software does not ask me for a location like it normal does when I edit and save patches that already exist on the amp.

Am I missing something here or is the way it is supposed to be?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

They should all be saved and belong to ur $User Windows Folder + /Documents/Fender/FUSE/Presets/ and to save them to any color and position on your Mustang Amp ... view them in the (Media Library), blue window pane ..and right-click and choose (Save to Amp) or whatever it says ..then a pop-up color thing will appear and you just select ...blah blah from there.

If you double click on a preset, it loads it into the amp so you can try it out. If you right click on a preset in the media library, it will give you the option to save it to the amp and then it should ask you which location to use. The biggest problem I have is remembering which locations I consider to be "free".

Hi, thanks for the replies. I have never thought to use the media library method. I will give that a try.

Dave, I went through each patch and marked any that I did not like or could not use and renamed them "EMPTY". That way I know where I can overwrite. DO NOT just delete the existing name and save it as a blank. For some reason then when you do and try to save a patch to the location the Fuse softeware will not let you save it. The only way around was to go to the amp and save them from the amp with the name "EMPTY".

I hope this helps.
