I'm slightly retarded (or just old). Can someone tell me how to use the Fender Amplitube via Mustang as an interface. Thanks.

Seems everyone is asking this lately and I'm not sure if I know the answer but I'll pretend I do. In short, you can't (you mean click on a modeling Amp within Amplitube) and have the sound come through the Mustang correct ? .. That's what I was hoping
for at first ..but the sound comes through my computer speakers or headphones .. I guess its good for recording to Ableton (somehow) but unless you run a line-out from your soundcard or headphones to the AUX on the Mustang Amp ..its not what you think.

Its like this. If I didn't own a Mustang Amp... i would (probably) buy Fender Amplitude to fart around with online and try some recordings which i'm no good at at anyhow ..but it looks fun ..but since I have the Mustang now ..(sure... it doesn;t have everything Amplitude has) ..but f-that ..why doesn't it!! ............ lol.. kinda bugs me ...entise me to purchase something..... I don think so, be honest about it!!

I hope I answered your question .. i probably didn't tho ... lol ..just click the the Amplitude options and then click "Ampytude-Line-Out-USB to Mustang" .. (as if anything that easy eh) .. where did plug n' play vanish too ............ lmao

Hi SEN,

Welcome to the Fender forums. Take a look at this KB article detailing the setup of AmpliTube Fender LE and Ableton Live Lite 8 with the Mustang series of amps.

http://www.fender.com/support/articles/ ... d-playback

Please keep in mind that the Mustang amps can be used an input devices only. You'll have to use another source, such as your built in speakers, as an output.
