As subject really. I have Sonar Home Studio XL on my Laptop used for very basic backing track creation. I'm considering getting a Mustang amp so will the FUSE software work with Sonar or will I have to use the supplied Abbleton software. Bear with me as I'm still a bit of a novice where digital recording is concerned!

Yes, but you will need to switch from the DirectX driver to the Fender Mustang ASIO USB driver in order to record over USB.

Thanks for that. I'm not entirely sure of the technicalities but at least now I know it will work with a little tweaking.

HI Stefan,

As aLinux mentioned earlier you can indeed use the Mustang to record into Sonar. The FUSE application, on the other hand, is basically an editor/libarian for the Mustang. It doesn't have any audio capabilities, other than basic Band Track playback. You can use Fender FUSE to adjust Presets/settings on your amp while recording the amp's tone into Sonar. I hope that helps.

Thanks for that clarification Loren. I plan on a visit to my local music store very shortly, with a wallet full of cash!
