can't find a solution for these problems that have cropped up while trying to use the FUSE.
1. Presets will not download. I can save presets that I create in the library, but when I download presets through FUSE, they don't show up anywhere they logically should.

2. Band tracks will only open in Windows Media Player.

3. Amplitube reads the internal mic for my computer and the article in the support section didn't help any.

other than that...I love the amp so far.

Somebody else mentioned this before as well ...strange ...but ... Presets and Band Tracks should automatically go-to your Documents folder ... on mine its Documents/Fender/FUSE/{Directory Name}

2. Band tracks will only open in Windows Media Player.

Yeah, he mentioned that before as well ...not sure how or if he fixed it .. Somewhere
within the Fender forum you'll find more on this I believe.

Is it making a noise ..try turning the tiny dial towards the bottom left until it stops. That fixed my Laptop Mic from feed-back in Amplitude.

other than that...I love the amp so far/

Super ... hope you work it out and enjoy the wonderful Mustang!

Hi dorkbomb,

The correct directory to save downloaded presets into is: Documents/Fender/FUSE/Presets.

The correct directory for Band Tracks is: Documents/Fender/FUSE/Audio

Any files stored there will be recognized automatically in the Media Library in Fender FUSE.

Regarding Band Tracks only opening in WMP, they are standard WAV and MP3 files, so opening any of them using Windows Explorer will open an audio app to play them. If you'd like to play them in Fender FUSE, you can load them using the Band controls in FUSE. Click the Band button on the FUSE interface, then select the file type and the file you want to play.

If AmpliTube Fender LE is picking up sound from your laptop's internal mic, you will need to disable that mic as an input device in the ASIO setup panel. You can access that from AmpliTube's audio setup window.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for the input. I figured out that I was trying to download presets through the browser and should have been doing it through the library in the FUSE interface.

Another couple of questions:

1. I play a lot using the headphones because the kid is asleep. Is there any way to practice using the band tracks while using the headphones with the amp?

2. How do I get my Mustang to show up as an audio source in Amplitube?

more questions will most assuredly follow.

Yes, download the band tracks and click on them within [Media Library] .. they will
output to your headphones as well as your guitar. Check the middle top (Start)(Band)
for more options ..you can play MP3's and eveything plus loop repeat the tracks.

2. How do I get my Mustang to show up as an audio source in Amplitube?

That I have no idea of. I've not had enough time to learn Amplitude nor Ableton.

more questions will most assuredly follow.

To answer your questions.

1. If you connect a 1/8th" (3.5mm) cable from your soundcards output to the aux input on the amp, you can connect your headphones to the amp and hear both your guitar and the Band Tracks playing in FUSE.

2. As long as you have the Fender Asio driver installed and set up properly, you should see the Mustang as an available input in AmpliTube or Ableton Live Lite. Take a look at this KB article:
http://www.fender.com/support/articles/ ... d-playback

I hope that helps.

Oh yeah .. disregard what I said. I don't know what I was thinking...but I'm wrong now that I think about it. Follow Loren's answer... that sounds perfectly clear. Thanks.
