Fuse worked the first time I used it. Then I got the hang problem and followed all the directions on the forum regarding reinstalling .NET, IE8, Fuse etc. Cleaned the registry rebooted multiple times, turned off all the virus protection, firewall etc. XP service pack 3

Fuse no longer runs. The error I am getting is this:
Navigation to the web page was canceled.
Retype the address.

This one looks like it just maybe some kind of quirk on my PC. Any ideas?

Hmm ....well, from what I see, its nothing to do with the Fender Mustang or Fuse software, its a Microsoft Operating System ERROR...and apparently a big one:
Seems to affect mostly IE7 ..you sure your really updated to IE8 ... Regardless you should be able to fix it ..looking through google results.

Hope you figure it out.

Finally got it working. PITA. Went through uninstalling everything, FUSE, Silverlight. .NET Framework, Amplitube, IE8. Re-installed everything........no luck. Repeated a few times........no luck.

Last time I reinstalled everything except IE8, got updates for .NET 4, manually cleaned registry. Rebooted. It worked. I think it is absurd that FUSE only works with MS IE.

I have been getting the same error, navigation to webpage canceled. I have windows 7, internet explorer 8, have updated silverlight and .net 4. I have uninstalled and reinstalled fuse A LOT. I have deleted it and downloaded it again and again. I have been working at this for 2 days and no luck. I download it from the internet, because on my disc that came with the amplifier, when I start the PCStartup, nothing happens when I try to click on the fender fuse software tab. Video tutorials, quickstart guide and additional software tabs all work. I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem. I could use some help if anyone has it though!

It probably does have to do with the problem as I has that same thing happen on both PC's here. The disc is not recognized but after "doing something" it finally did pop up and was recognized and installed without a hitch, only I forget what I had to do. Maybe I installed Silverlight and .Net from a website ..then the CD started working .. I can't remeber sorry.

Internet Explorer 9 fixed it. I was skeptical, because I already had 8, and supposedly you only need 7. The other fixes I tried today before getting 9 was deleting my silverlight and .net 4, because both of those come with fuse, fuse comes with .net 3.5, so I thought I might have to use 3.5 instead of 4. Anyway, no luck with that, but IE 9 fixed it right away. Thanks for your help!

Seems installing "any" IE version over-top of the old one, whether its IE7 to IE9 ..fixes *some things*. Not sure why though...maybe the original becomes stale after Win-updates ....and since most software authors will ONLY test there software with a fresh Windows Operating System - YMMV.

Hey Guys,

We've seen this error before. It appears to be strictly IE related. In all cases, reinstalling either a current or older version of IE resolved the issue.
