Hi.....Why oh please why am I having so much pain trying to download presets for my G Dec 3? I follow all the instructions, i.e. Open Fuse on my computer, log in, go into presets, press the buttons for the preset download, everything appears okay only that as soon as the download starts it completes 100% in half a second. A folder appears in the computer or SD card I downloaded it to which will not open and appears to have very little in it, 2KB. Okay I am a bit of a dinosaur electronically speaking, hopefully it will be something stupidly simple!!

Are you "logged in" at the bottom of the Fuse amp looking page?

Do you need to refresh your page? Sometimes closing fuse then re-opening.

Have you gone to click "computer" then click "go" in the upper R side of the Fuse amp page? It will show a blue background and then your downloaded presets should be in there.

Have you opened your preset downloads on the "my music" folder or wherever you have them downloaded to? They may then show up in the "computer" list under PC.

Strike the above post.... I have a Mustang I amp and that's how it works. Not sure about the G-Dec although I have a G Dec 30 as well, but never used it online as I needed a special cable for it that I never purchased.

Try the G-Dec forum and even an off Fender place called mygdec.com

use your browser, log in to Fender Fuse under Vommunity on the Fender website.

Download the desired presets and save to your hard disk.

log out from Fender and close your browser

Open the folder where you saved the presets.

Copy them ( in Win7) to your /docs/fuse/presets folder. (somewhere else on XP I believe -look for the FUSE folder)

Open FUSE and check the Media Library/Presets.

They should all be there.

Hey Guys,

Great answers.

Telsan - Can you verify you're still unable to load the Presets using Jbloggs suggestion?

Hi........thanks for that, tried it but just the same! Even tried reinstalling fuse but it made no difference, getting a bit fed up with it now. G Dec 3 is a great amp and plenty of presets for me to play with so 'mustn't grumble' as my old granddad used to say...Ta for your time.

Hi Telsan,

It sounds as though you've downloaded some Presets to your computer. All that's left to do is to import them into Fender FUSE. You should try using the Add to Library function in the Media Library to import them. I hope that helps.
