Has anyone had trouble loading Fender Fuse on a Windows XP computer? I'm having trouble with the Fuse Launcher as it will not load the program. I installed the software but can't load it. Thanks!

Hey dragonflygs,

What exactly is happening? Is the Fender FUSE icon not there? Please tell me exactly what you're seeing.

Hey Search14,

Welcome to the Fender forums. A black screen is usually indicative of Internet Explorer not being up to date. I assume you're using a Windows PC. Do you have IE 7 or later installed?

Fuse will no longer launch for my G dec, I have installed the new version, nothing I have deleted it re installed still nothing, I have the original 2.5 and 2.6 version also no results. I know it is connected because when turning on and off I get the sound through the computer sound system, I am running XP and have to due to certain other gear that only runs on XP.

Help!

Hi uko7,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having this issue with Fender® FUSE™. Unfortunately, Windows XP is no longer officially supported for use with Fender FUSE. However, it may run for you provided that you have all available updates loaded and are running SP3, depending on the overall 'health' of the PC in question.

The most likely place to start troubleshooting would be with Internet Explorer and/or Microsoft Silverlight. We have a dedicated 'Troubleshooting' document that guides users through a few different troubleshooting steps in order of priority. You may want to start there. I have included a link below for this document. Please let us know how this goes and feel free to contact us directly if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

Alan

Hi uko7,

Thanks for the updated information. That's cool that you are using Firefox. However, Fender® FUSE™ still needs IE8 or greater to run in regard to the web portion of its functionally. So, that may be part of the issue. At any rate, you will want to be sure that you have IE8 installed and updated or at the very least, IE7. But with IE7, we are getting fairly dated in terms of compatibility and functionality. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

Alan
