I'm in the process of moving and didn't have my desktop PC connected, but I did have my netbook. I loaded FUSE on my netbook, and when I tried to upload a amp preset, I couldn't because my netbook's screen resolution was enough to show the entire FUSE GUI.

In thinking about this, and having a space 19" LCD monitor, I decided to connect the monitor to my netbook and see if I could increase the resolution, it worked!

I was able to increase the resolution from 800x600 pixels to 1024x786, this shows the entire FUSE GUI, I'll start uploading presets & backing tracks very soon.

Excellent....So your netbook is now uploading the presets.. that was a good idea.
In case you didn't hear...they are working on a scroll-bar fix for certain netbooks.
I almost bought one of these 7 inch screen jobs off Eflay the other day... smaller
than EEPC.. good thing i didn't but Netbooks are popular and should be supported
no matter what.

IMO, netbooks weren't designed for this type of work. I have a Aspire One, Intel Atom, 10.5" screen, 260GB hard drive and 1GB RAM. I'm in the process of moving and haven't setup my desktop PC, so I loaded FUSE on this netbook. Honestly, I was surprised FUSE works as well as it does on this netbbok.

There is a little latency with the amp & program running, but not enough to be annoying. But when I get my desktop, I know that probably won't ran FUSE again on this notebook.

Why? Because I'll be setup for recording in a DAW with the more powerful desktop machine.

I just ordered more memory and faster processor in the mean-time and I'd love to jump on the desktop computer as well ...but i'm to lazy ... gotten so use to holding the lappy....hey I seen ur Hendrix shirt ..good stuff ....nice band tracks ..blues power! and good luck w/ the move!

Great idea Tony. Even though netbook displays are small, some of them can support bigger monitors. Glad you found a workaround.
