When you select a band track and repeat after you start and after some minutes the stop button on the fuse software does not respond anymore. So you basically cannot stop the band except by using the space key or by selecting a different track from the library. Minor bug but a bug none the less.

And a metronome would be nice to be added.

Latest version of fuse...

No Mustang I

Perhaps this bug appears when you change presets through the Mustang, while the band is playing. As I said you can start stop the band using the space key. Its just that you cannot use the start stop button in the software. It does not happen immediately. The band has to loop for a couple of minutes, but I believe I tested it without changing presets and it happens as well, just not 100% sure.

I thinki i'm lost ...how did you make it Loop in the first place... Within Fuse when I goto band tracks it only shows me a (Play/Stop) button ..browser based correct? .. less ur somehow playing the presets after downloading them and opening them with Fuse ? that I haven't tried or figured out yet ..sorry

Initially there is a start band button. When you press on the band button a window appears in order to select the wav/mp3 track. There is a repeat tick-box there in order to loop the track over and over. I play the tracks within fuse.

OK ...I see now. Well, I tried for 1/2 hour playing back these 3 tracks here... and couldn't reproduce the problem. It always behaved the way it should - I just
kept looping between these 3 below ... playing each one for around 10 min / while stopping/starting every 2-4 min or so.

Image

Maybe it just happens with certain backing tracks or when there more of them populated ... I'm not sure. Anyhow, I cant help with it sorry....

Edited:
but... Thanks for showing howto do that... Now i know how to play band tracks in a loop
using the Fuse player which is easier than opening up WMP or Mixing Software... By using
the Mustang I should be able to (Record) all in one shot now, without having to mix together my tracks. :P

Since the space bar acts as a start/stop there are no worries... Will try to investigate further so that I can exactly point out the procedure that replicates it.

We haven't been able to reproduce it here either. Definitely let me know when you have the steps to recreate it.

Here is a procedure that produces the bug.

Mustang I amp connected via usb cable. Latest firmware and fuse version.
I select orange twin reverb preset.
Open band and select slow blues in am (already downloaded to my computer)
Select repeat, OK and then press start.
Just change the preset to british 60's.
Now the stop button does not work.
And nor does the space bar (thought it did but it does not).

In order to stop the band you either have to exit the program or go to media library and double click some other band track.

Still behaves the way it should on my end. Note: I tried searching for an "orange" preset, but found none..so I used a few different ones of the 300 or so I have here already.

Since it happens in both OS's ...sounds like more of ancomputer hardware error ... hard-drive, to little memory or even a computer BIOS upgrade might fix this problem.

When I say "orange" I mean the color of the led on the Mustang. This is happening to two different computers (Windows 7 and another with OSX). So the only thing in common is Silverlight and Fuse. In order to change presets I rotate the knob on the Mustang amp.

Yeah, your rite, its stuck...only way to stop it is closing down the Fuse program. Another
bug I've found...but it might be related to my laptop's low memory plus it over-heats slightly...is I lose the entire [Media Library] often ... doesn't bother me as I have a new processor and 2Gb's of RAM sitting on the table ..i'm just to lazy to throw it in...but i always notice my RAMs pinned when this happen or at least 96% is used...and the lappy
is pretty warm ..bout' 72c .. I figure once i place the ram and cpu in it would have fixed
the problem as of rite now im using Celeron 540 cpu and 1Gb of ram which vista needs on its own... Happens with everything ..netflix, youtube, rams maxes out ..cpu boils over...but just thought i'd mention the Media Library vanishes as well...just goes blank...but closing the program and starting it back up is all it takes.... but yes your bug
is real (where's the raid when we it most)
-

Edited
Spent $75 for T7500 Core2 Duo and 2 Gb Sasung Ram - Now installed ...
CPU core is 36c - 50c max (a big difference) and memory is beetween 44% - 60% max.
Fuse runs sweet now ...not sure of the dissapearing Media Library but i haven't noticed
any problems since the upgrade - Feels almost as quick as my desktop PC, that has been just a dust collector since I got it. :)

I believe it has to do with the presets. It seems that you can assign a band track to a preset as well and fuse goes $@!& up when you change presets when a track is playing since it has no band track in that specific preset. You can notice that the band title just changes to no band.

Wow my first confirmed bug :)

@aLinux
Ram will definitely help....some thermal paste will help as well.

Exactly... and that's something I just learned from this... SAVE it while the band track is loaded up ..keeps the back track along with the preset ...That will def. come in handy for me.

True ..that's actually what i'm waiting on.. silver 5 whatever it is artic to arrive ..everything else did but the paste ..and i'm NOT about to use Tooth-paste..but I contemplate on it ................ lol

Yes, its a Bug Fender
