Hi,

I have been using Fuse for a few months now but still I cannot understand how the Fuse search preset function works. A staightforward function on paper but in practice ...

A simple example: I want to search for all hendrix related presets on the web. Here is what I do, run Fuse, connect/login, type hendrix in search text box, click on WEB (below Go) button and finally click on Go ... and then nothing is found. if I do a '*hendrix*' search, get also nothing.

If I type 'jimihendrixpurplehaze' the exact name of an existing preset, also no result after pressing go... makes me wondering ... is this implemented?

I tried many things: waiting, disabling the firewall ... nothing worked

Searching on the web site works, but can be also be frustrating as browsing is very difficult and search is only possible on one specific item at a time. So looking for hendrix related presets will translate into several searches in title, tags, description , ...

Anything I missed out?

Hey Guys,

Please make sure you're searching for Presets relevent to your amp. If you have a Mustang connected, searching for G-DEC 3 presets will yield no results. The reverse is true as well. Also, if you're searching for Presets through the web interface, make sure you have the correct amp selected in the amp drop-down menu. I hope that helps.

Loren

Works perfectly fine here ..actually works better the the IE browser based search ... it even finds the tags that mention hendrix - 11 results. I did exactly what you said to do.

Not sure what to say .. but maybe open up your silverlight and find fender
and try fiddling in there ... I seen somebody mention they deleted the silverlight settings once to restore there AMP presets once .. so maybe its
blocking the search results somehow ..or ur Firewall is blocking .. guessin

Yep, worked for me too. I wasn't using that method to search before, but when I tried it today it worked fine - 11 results.

Thanks guys, good to know that it works for others.
Tried several things including the delete of Fuse in Silverlight and disabling
my FW but this gave no result.
The search from Fuse on my computer and amp (incl. SD card) works fine though... so really a web connection problem with silverlight (sllauncher)

OK .. well .. I dont think this will help neither but there is a Firmware update that fixes something else you can get within Fuse [Menu] section.

Search works for me once I've logged in to Fuse Forums and selected Mustang - I do all my downloads via Fireox and Linux Mint - I dont connect my Laptop with Win XP and Fuse to te 'Web.
