NOTE: This is an inofficial guide and is just an example of how to use
your FUSE-powered amplifier.

Mac Users: To quote Loren: "Every Mac laptop has a "right-click". On non-multi-touch Macbook/Macbook Pro's, pressing the control button while clicking will bring up the context menu that is normally displayed after what would be considered a right-click on a Windows machine. On newer multi-touch Macs, clicking with 2 fingers is considered a right click. "

------------------- Preparing your SD card --------------------------------
    1.
If you have a brand-new SD-card, skip to point 3.

    2.
If you have an SD-card with some data on it, you have two options:
    a. Erase it (But remember to take backup of the stuff on it that you
    want to keep!). Recommended.
    b. Leave whatever is on your card. However, it might be confusing to
know what "belongs" to your Amp, unless you know exactly what you
are doing. Also, if you already happen to have directories/folders on
your SD-card called "Audio", "Midi", "Phrase" or "Presets" with content
not compatible with your Amp, you might run into strange problems.

    3.
Insert your SD-card into the Amp.
Wait for your amp to complete the scanning/updating.

    4.
    Turn off the Mem Lock.
Hold the "Util" button on your amp until you get to the Util settings.
Press the right-arrow about 3 times until you're att "Mem Lock" and turn
the knob so that the screen displays "Off". Exit the util-menu.

    5.
    Remove the SD-card.

---------------------------Using the SD card ----------------------------

Insert your SD-card into your computer.
Browse the contents and you will find the folders mentioned above
( "Audio", "Midi", "Phrase" or "Presets").
They are all empty.

To add Band tracks:
Copy/paste or drag & drop .mp3 or .wav (wave) -files into the "Audio" folder/directory.
Copy/paste or drag & drop .mid (midi) -files into the "Midi" directory.

You can also add Band tracks into the "Media Library", and they will appear under the "Computer tab". From there, you can right-click on the tracks and choose "Save to Amp SD card".

Note: My suggestion is that you DO NOT add Band tracks to the "Media Library" in FUSE (the third option above),
but just copy them to the SD-card directly in a file manager.
The reason for this is that you can't really do anything useful with them in your library,
they only take space as they are copies of the media-files from where you copied them..
The only thing you CAN do is to copy them to your SD-card or Amp (and then you will have 3 copies),
which is much slower than copying them to the SD-card yourself while the card is inserted to your computer...

-------------------------To add presets:-------------------------------------------
Copy/paste or drag & drop .fuse (preset) -files into the "Presets" folder/directory.

I was going to tell you how to add/delete/manage presets using FUSE, but it's simply too inconsistent in it's
behaviour, naming of presets as well as just buggy (refuses to copy added presets from SD back to the Computer).
Trust me, if you NEED this guide, you would just get even more confused.
It's a shame, because I would have otherwise explained how to test out new presets without having to replace
any of the 100 slots...
Maybe I (or someone else) will do it later, but I refuse to give advice that is confusing or doesn't work
properly, so that's still on hold. :)

----------------------- Using a preset from the SD-card ------------------------

Okay, it turns out that you can't (???).
As of now, there is no way to directly use a Preset that is on the SD-card through FUSE.
You need to use the Util-menu on the amp, go to "import" and scroll through until you find the preset.

--------------- Using a custom band track from the SD-card------------------

In the Media Library, select SD-card and right-click on the song you wish to use, and choose "Load Band Track".
The track is now loaded and you can play it by right-clicking and choosing "preview", or pressing the Start/Stop button on the amp.
NOTE: As long as you do NOT press "Save" in FUSE or the Save-button on the amp (which now shines red, on a G-dec 3, atleast), the old Band-track will still be default for this preset.

A section on Phrases will appear here when my pedal arrives. :)

Hey that's great! Now here's another one.
How do I acquire backing tracks and then add them to my arsenal? I've found a web site with backing tracks that allow me to download them as mp3 file. OK, I've downloaded a backing track. Then went to Fuse and using the "add to library" button I added it to my files. It came up in the "band track name" section as an mp3 file but I can't get it to play or do anything other than just sit there. What am I doing wrong?
Waiting on your "answeres, step-by-step" thanks!

Hey Purdom,

Right-clicking on any file in the Media Library brings up a context menu with more options. This should give you the option of sending the MP3 file to your amp.
