Hi guys,

I'm very interested in the Mustang amps but have been wondering a few things.
When you hook one upto a computer for recording can you have the sound come in unprocessed by the amp simulations? I like the idea of being able to record clean with the software included to lay down a track then have the ability to use the Mustang amps sims or Amplitube to change the sound around at a later time if I decided it would sound better through a different amp type.

Also, when you download band tracks through the fuse network type thing can I save these out seperately and put them on my ipod to play through the line in rather than have to have it hook upto my computer (which is actually my works notebook so leave it there some times) each time to play along to them?

Finally , are there more amp and pedal simulations available to download on Fuse? By this i mean different amps and pedal, rather than just settings to the amp types already available built into the Mustang. I've had a look but cant seem to find any information about that.

I look forward to learning a bit more about this amp, as it sounds great.

Many thanks,

Gareth

Since the Mustang is a modeling amp, you can't really turn off the modeling but you can dial up a clean amp model with no effects, save it as a Preset, and use that with AmpliTube or other modeling software.

Yes. The Band Tracks available on the Community are standard WAV files. they can be played back on pretty much any media player.

Unfortunately, there are no "add on" amp models and effects at this time. However, the Mustang amps contain a wide variety of amp types and effects. Are you having a hard time getting the sound you're looking for using the built in amp models and effects?

I look forward to learning a bit more about this amp, as it sounds great.

We're pleased that you like the sound. Let us know if we can be of further assistance.
