Hi

When I've been using my G-DEC Thirty connected to Fuse I've sometimes had it where the Band 'Start' button fails to work both on FUSE and the Amp.

I haven't been able to pin down any sequence of events that causes it. I wonder if this is something that's happened to others?

In order to solve the problem I've been switching Fuse and the Amp off and starting over but it's a bit of a nuisance when you're in full flow :(

Anyone else getting this?

Cheers.

Hey Jim,

That could be related to your computer using the G-DEC as an audio output device. If you have the ASIO driver installed, your system may be using the amp as it's default system output for system sounds like beeps and boings. If that's happening, you won't be able to play Band Tracks until the audio stream from your computer is stopped and reset. The best way to get around that is to make sure that the G-DEC isn't the default output device for your system or that system sounds are turned off.

Hey Loren

You're right, when I connect via the USB all of the PC sounds come from the amp.

Now, how do I make sure that the G-DEC isn't the default output device for my system as you say in your reply? If you could tell me how I'd appreciate it :D

Thanks a lot.

You are using Windows, correct? In the Sound Control Panel you can select your default audio device.

Thanks Loren.

I also checked the box on the audio tab "Use only default devices" otherwise it kept replacing my 'default' with DEC Audio when I connected via USB.

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
